I work diligently to create a more intersectional and inclusive environment through higher education and social justice activism by focusing on anti-blackness, misogynoir, homophobia and transphobia. I have worked for Amnesty International, The Walter Rodney Foundation and Atlanta Jobs with Justice, and I’m a Founding Member at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and Black Lives Matter Atlanta. I am currently a Ph.D. student at Louisiana State University studying media and public affairs.
I attended the two-day Nonviolence365® training in 2018 and excitedly accepted when invited to serve as a trainer. I work to bridge the understanding of Kingian nonviolence principles to a new generation of activists and leaders.
