De’Leice R. Drane

I am currently VP of Operations for First Kingdom Management. Prior to becoming a trainer, I had the opportunity to train with Dr. Bernice King in Ferguson, MI, after the killing of Michael Brown. I witnessed the transformation that took place between some of the officers and citizens who attended the training and made a commitment to her and Captain Charles Alphin.

Although I didn’t consider myself a violent person, I wasn’t interested in settling my differences through the nonviolent means taught by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I had to be congruent with what I was going to be teaching or I couldn’t do it.
