As we approach the 100th birthdays of Mrs. Coretta Scott King in 2027 and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 2029, The King Center invites you to join us on a transformative journey honoring their enduring legacies.
Our five-year campaign celebrates their monumental contributions to equality, justice, and the Beloved Community while paving the way for meaningful societal change through Nonviolence365.

OUR GOALS
GOAL 1: REIMAGINE HISTORY:
BUILD A STATE-OF-THE-ART KING CENTER 2.0 CAMPUS AND DREAM CENTER THAT BRINGS DR & MRS. KINGS TEACHINGS TO LIFE THROUGH AI AND THE IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGY OF AR, VR, MR, AND XR.
– Immersive technologies like virtual reality and holograms, inspired by Dr & Ms. King’s teachings
– Interactive exhibits that make civil rights history accessible to all.
– A modern facility blending historic preservation with technological innovation.
GOAL 2: INSPIRE THROUGH MUSIC:
LAUNCH THE KING 100 GLOBAL MUSIC SERIES, FEATURING MUSICIANS WORLDWIDE.
– Original musical releases honoring the Kings’ legacies.
– Culminating Centennial Musical Celebration in Atlanta in 2029.
GOAL 3: EMPOWER COMMUNITIES:
EXECUTE ECONOMIC EQUALITY INITIATIVES
– Collaborations with global organizations and individuals.
– Programs inspired by Dr. King’s teachings and Mrs. King’s advocacy for empowerment.
