Description

One Book, One King is an interdisciplinary curriculum developed by The King Center based on the book I Have a Dream: Writings and Speeches That Changed the World by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The curriculum uses Dr. King’s original speeches and writings as anchor texts to engage students in critical thinking, writing, and civic learning. Over twelve core lessons, students explore themes of nonviolence, civil rights, and leadership through multiple academic lenses including English, history, government, science, math, the arts, and psychology.
