As a businessperson and recent widow, I turned to Mrs. Coretta Scott-King’s memoir “My Life, My Love, My Legacy” before joining The King Center’s training team. Although my admiration of Dr. King’s Philosophy of Nonviolence began 14 years ago as a Kingian Nonviolence trainer for the Southern Christian Leadership Foundation, Mrs. King’s resilience and NV365 principles helped address our new family dynamics and grief.
Equally, I hold Advanced Mediation and Organizational Conflict Management Credentials for mitigating DEIB challenges in the workplace. Also, I partnered with international audiences, including ex-militants to corporate leaders, in metabolizing nonviolence as a vehicle for reconciliation.
