Rev. Martin Luther King, a native of Stockbridge, Ga. A little hamlet about twenty miles down the road from Atlanta. Being deservous [deserving] of a better education than Stockbridge could afford, he came to Atlanta at the age of sixteen to work and further his studies. He is a graduate of Bryant High School, Morehouse College and received the degree of Doctor of Divinity from Morris Brown College. He is Moderator of the Atlanta Association, member of Trustee Boards of the Interdenominational Seminary, Morehouse College and Atlanta University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Carrie Steel Pitts Home and the Citizens Trust Bank. He is married to the former Miss Alberta Williams (daughter of Ebenezer?s second pastor) and they were [Crossed Out: were] have been blessed with three children Mrs. W.
